Kim Doyon
General Information:
A ltitle about my artI began to paint as a young child due to my grandmother's old tubes of paints and canvases and then started professionally at 14 years of age. I have learned the art from my exceptionally talented grandmother art teacher Thessa Doyon who lives in a little town named Thetford Mines, Quebec. I have sold many types of artworks from oil paintings, acrylics, pencil art to wood signs, jewellery boxes and hand painted jewellery, functional art, custom painted ponies & bisque horses. I can paint pretty much anything, but I like to specialize in equine based artwork.I am always looking to create new types of art. My main focus though is to offer my customers custom one of a kind pieces that they can cherish forever! My GoalsI would love to own a decent size acreage, have a boarding stable & make artwork for a living.Where I liveI live in a small town called Orillia in Ontario with my wonderful boyfriend of 8 years. He supports everything I do and is always up for me trying something new with my artistic capabilities . He is one of the best people to have around for encouragment and fun. When I am not painting I work as a Health Care Aid in a Long Term Care home.My PetsI am the lucky owner of a beautiful Quarter horse who goes by the name of Newman, a dog named Dexter, 5 Cichlid Parrot fish,2 Turtles and one Betta.....As you can see animals are a very big part of my life and horses are my biggest passion !Well I think I have covered about all that I can think of for right now. Thanks for taking the time to read a little about me.Now sit back in that computer chair of yours and enjoy yourself in my art maze and don't forget to press the play button to listen to some great tunes!I want to dedicate this website to my grandfather who was " my father ". He was a very positive and encouragind person in my life whom I miss everyday.
